Guild's Oak Leaf & Acorn motif might be the most 70s aesthetic of any electric guitar of the era, and we're here for it.

This 1975 Guild JS-II based recently arrived at our shop on trade, and not only has it become the coolest bass in our inventory, but it's a reminder of just how far the Westerly, RI based guitarmakers could take 1970s design.

While the JS-II and S-100 models could be found in more conventional finishes, it was the deluxe carved top versions adorned with oak leaves and acorns that really turned them into some of the most attention-getting electrics of their time. To this day, there isn't anything quite like it in modern-day guitar production unless you're working with a single luthier shop.

This JS-II might be the cleanest one on the market right now. Featuring some of its original hang tags and original case, it's impressively clean throughout. It presents as almost NOS with very little wear to comment on. The lacquer is very clean, and all hardware and plastics follow suit. Frets are in excellent playing condition as well.

If you're looking for a great vintage short scale bass and want the coolest one on the block, this Guild is the one.
