Why We Love This

This Froggy Bottom H-12 Deluxe was part of the builder's limited 50th Anniversary run of guitars produced in 2020. It was commissioned privately between the owner and the builders, and contains upgraded materials not otherwise available on retail guitars.

Followers of Froggy Bottom will likely be dazzled by the incredible set of Brazilian Rosewood on this guitar. Graded "5A," it's the sort of material that would be right at home on a Martin OM-45. The German Spruce top is from the fabled Froggy "1876" stash. Its color, grain structure, and stiffness simply can't be matched; and coupled with the aforementioned rosewood, it produces an extraordinarily complex & beautiful sound. We won't wax too much more about the sound, since it likely goes without saying to those in the know ~ this is a tremendous sounding instrument. Priced with its original Cedar Creek AVS hard case, and in excellent condition with hardly any signs of previous handling (there's a slight whisper of some fret wear in the first position, but that's it).
