What To Know
The Epiphone Texan has long enjoyed an association with Paul McCartney, who famously used one for much of his tenure with The Beatles. But they're much more than a singer-songwriter's bedrock: their Martinesque scale adds extra punch and chime, making them deceptively good flatpicking guitars.
This particular Texan has weathered the years very well. And although it's been played, its structure is still in great condition. The original adjustable saddles have been replaced with a modern, bone counterpart (many of us would consider this swap an improvement). Aside from that modification, it remains as it was made in 1965 (battle scars from lots of gigs notwithstanding). No cracks, and overall very good vintage condition. We think this is a particularly good sounding Texan; and if you're looking for a vintage dreadnought it's well worth consideration. Priced with non-original hard case.
Please note: used instruments are, well, used. We pride ourselves on thoroughly vetting, and carefully photographing, each pre-owned instrument we sell, but many of them carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye. If you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're here to help!
