We really love what Bill has achieved with the GCS-16. These guitars feel great in hand, are really easy to play, and sound great. Any player that's been wanting to get into a "jazz box" no longer has any excuse to put it off. The build quality is high and setup feels great. The neck carve is slightly chunky but still fast - exactly what we love to see on an archtop.
Plugged in, the GCS-16 delivers the warm, round, punchy tones that'll have you trying your best Wes licks in no time. No surprises here.
All in all? This is an incredibly cool guitar that defies many of the stereotypes that accompany some "import guitars". For our money, you'd be hard pressed to find a better guitar in this price range. Well done, Bill! Priced with hardshell case.
