What To Know

We sold this Collings CJ when it was a new guitar in 2011; and the original owner has just brought it back for consignment. It's been amazingly well-kept, and the surfaces still have their original sheen. There are no significant cosmetic blemishes, and the frets are very clean as well. In short ~ excellent condition, without hesitation.

The sound brings to mind a period ten years or so ago, when we ordered pretty much every model in the Collings lineup in Koa & German Spruce. (Koa was more reasonably priced back then.) This guitar's voice is brilliant and rich, with incredible clarity and power across all registers. A dynamite big bodied strummer / flatpicker, with a colorful series of overtones around the fundamental note. Priced with its original TKL hard case.
