Why We Love This

This Collings 0002H reminds us a lot of the guitar played by our old friend, Chris Smither. Solid peghead on a 12-fret? Check. Cutaway? Check. The big difference is the torrefied Sitka Spruce top (which wasn't an option when Chris took possession of his). The 12-fret 000 body, in conjunction with the aforementioned "baked" top, yields tremendous power and warmth, making this a true do-it-all instrument for any fingerstyle player.
