You'd never know this Bourgeois Slope D is 17 years old to look at it. It's in fantastic cosmetic condition, with clean surfaces and nothing to mention in the way of blemishes. The frets are similarly clean, and the previous owner has set it up for low action (we've left it as is for now, but a heavy player desiring higher action may want to shim the saddle and dial in a little more relief). This guitar was produced during our favorite era for Bourgeois guitars; and as we'd expect, it's a particularly nice-sounding example of a Slope D. Woody, bright, and powerful all at once, it's a great choice for a guitarist in search of a do-it-all workhorse (whether you flatpick, fingerpick, strum, anchor a band ... this guitar will serve you well).
