Sometimes all it takes is an inspiring new sound to open up novel creative possibilities. This custom R model captures the magic of a ‘30s dobro, but in a more modern sounding, round-neck format. This guitar has a rich warmth when fingerpicked lightly, and takes on a vibrant, midrange growl when you dig in with a medium attack. It is a big, engaging sound, to be sure. The aesthetic is very sharp, too, with f holes and custom black hardware in a Celtic knot pattern nicely complementing the natural, bear-claw spruce top.
