Taylor | Body Shapes

Taylor offers several full-size guitar body shapes to choose from. Each body’s unique dimensions help define its fundamental voice to give it a distinctive tonal personality.

Grand Theater (GT)

Taylor’s most compact body shape serves up bold tone in a package that’s easy to transport and comfortable to play.

Grand Concert

Larger than the reduced-scale GT but smaller than the Grand Auditorium, the Grand Concert is Taylor’s most intimate full-scale guitar body shape, perfect for fingerstyle and strumming alike.

Grand Auditorium

The quintessential Taylor body shape is the Grand Auditorium, a versatile Swiss Army knife of a guitar with comfortable contours and a vibrant, balanced tonal response across the frequency spectrum.

Grand Pacific

A round-shoulder version of the dreadnought, the Grand Pacific produces warm, balanced tone with plenty of low-end power and clarity.

Grand Symphony

Newly upgraded with a soundport cutaway and V-Class bracing, the revoiced Grand Symphony produces full-spectrum clarity and immersive, high-fidelity tone.

Dreadnought

A traditional shape. Its powerful lows and snappy mids are great for flatpicking and strumming.

Grand Orchestra

Taylor's largest and most powerful body shape now features revoicing touches and V-Class bracing.
