Guitar-playing die-hard Jimmy Page fans are most certainly familiar with Mitch Colby's recent release of the Sundragon amplifier. Built on the platform of Page's iconic Supro Coronado combo used on Led Zeppelin's first album, Colby has been able to bring that legendary tone into the modern world with a very well-executed replica.

While the amp was offered as a standard production amplifier, its Limited Edition variant made a major splash upon its release. This is one of just 50 amplifiers built as part of the original run, complete with a Jimmy Page signed serial number plate and accoutrement to commemorate its release.

Here's what Mitch has to say about the Sundragon amp...

"Before finalizing the Sundragon we analyzed every detail of Jimmy’s original amp. We incorporated the important circuit detail including NOS (New Old Stock) parts, transformers hand wound by the original manufacturer plus NOS tubes manufactured by Mullard and GE. While the speaker manufacturer who made the cone in Jimmy’s Oxford speaker is out of business we selected a modern speaker that captures the essence of the speaker in Jimmy’s amp. It is the Jensen P12Q with an Alnico magnet.

Because of the uniqueness of Jimmy’s iconic amp, and the work done on Sundragon, there is no other amp that can duplicate its singular aggressive sonic quality plus the interaction between the guitar and amp."

This amp was purchased directly from Colby/Sundragon and has remained in its original packaging for the majority of time it has existed. It's in fantastic condition and comes with all of the original packaging and "case candy". There's no doubt that this has become one of the most collectible modern guitar amplifiers out there.
