This custom-built Tony Rice Pro model from the Santa Cruz Guitar Company is the only one we've ever seen featuring a cutaway. Beautiful, dark Cocobolo back and sides, and a German Spruce top we're told was 45 years old when the guitar was built combine to produce a gorgeous, complex and ethereal sound. Whether flatpicked, strummed, or played fingerstyle, this guitar offers richness aplenty and an ethereal sparkle that lends itself beautifully to chord melody and breathy instrumental work. Overall condition is excellent, with no significant blemishes and minimal signs of handling for a 20-year old guitar. Priced with SKB thermoplastic hard case. On consignment.
