Ron Kirn has built his reputation on delivering incredible quality at accessible prices. As he puts it, "It's like buying a Ferrari for the price of a Crown Vic." We couldn’t agree more.

We've long admired Ron Kirn's guitars, often hearing their praises sung by local customers and guitar aficionados. We're excited to offer this really cool pre-owned T-Style —and it more than lives up to the hype. Ron was even spotlighted in Premier Guitar magazine several years ago as one of the "5 Tele Builders You Should Know." That’s high praise, and after spending some time with this instrument, we wholeheartedly agree.

One of the first things you'll notice when picking up this guitar is its remarkable lightness and satin finish—just 7lbs 5oz. That’s always a promising start with a Tele build in our world (lack of weight). The build quality is top notch - a nice tight neck joint, excellent fret work, and the aforementioned satin finish which creates an instant bond with the player.

The neck carve is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this guitar. The shape, combined with its perfectly rolled fingerboard edges, delivers an incredibly comfortable, broken-in feel. It’s reminiscent of a Fender '60s oval C carve—a true testament to Ron Kirn’s mastery.

Unplugged, this guitar is impressively resonant, with a vibrant, lively feel that’s responsive and dynamic. Plug it in, and you’re rewarded with that classic Tele twang, rich and balanced, without any harshness. The modern bridge, equipped with six individual saddles, ensures precise intonation and helps temper the sometimes overly bright tone that Teles can sometimes exhibit.

Pre-Owned Instruments | Have Questions?
We take great care in accepting only the highest quality pre-owned instruments for resale in our shop, then carefully photograph and describe each instrument to ensure what you see on our site is exactly what you'll receive. Many of these instruments carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye, so if you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're always happy to help!
