Old-school, spot-on vintage tone in a vibey, beautifully executed A5. Don MacRostie has done it again!

This wonderful Red Diamond Vintage A dates to 2009 but feels and sounds more like a well-preserved instrument from the 1920s. Don MacRostie's mandolins all seem to have that ability to transport us. The light build makes for a very satisfying playing experience. It boasts an enviable, vocal midrange than often eludes many a modern mandolin.

This mandolin comes to us with a fresh evo refret by MacRostie a couple years back. One top ding north of the bass side f-hole, normal light wear, but otherwise in very good overall condition.
