Paul Reed Smith guitars have long been prized for their beauty, build quality, easy of play, and versatility. Players as diverse as John Mayer, Carlos Santana, David Grissom, Dave Navarro, and Jimmy Herring have put a PRS into service (many on this list having signature models as well).

Speaking of versatility, if you're looking for one instrument that can "do it all", it'd be hard to top this beautiful Trampas Green Special 22. A lightweight semi-hollowbody, the Special 22 features a trio of pickups (2 PRS 58/15 MT humbuckers and a Narrowfield middle pickup), quite possibly our favorite bridge/trem ever - the iconic John Mann designed/patented PRS trem, Mother of Pearl bird inlays, a volume/tone/5 way/2 mini-toggle switches (coil-splits), a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, PRS Wood Library quality woods such as a maple "10 top", AAA Maple neck...whew....you get the idea. This is a top of the line offering by any measure.

While there are quite a few options to explore electronics-wise, it's very easy to drive as a player. Switch and knob locations are well laid out and add useful tonal shaping vs "let's through everything at the player" even when some of the sounds aren't that happening. Not so here - all the sounds fall into a very useable range and give you quite a bit to work with, leaving us feeling you'd have to try hard to find a context where this guitar wouldn't live quite comfortably. Not an easy thing to pull off, but this is why PRS has become one of the top manufactures along with Fender and Gibson.

Condition: Excellent, bordering on near mint. Only very light signs of prior ownership are present.

Priced with hardshell case.
