Description
UK-based Patrick James Eggle has built guitars for the likes of Brian May, Toni Iommi, Albert Lee, Rory Gallagher, and Jake Bugg (among others). This is the first instrument of Patrick's we've had in the shop and we've been having a hard time putting it down, truth be told! From Patrick...
"The Macon Junior is a guitar made for gigging. The slab body, contoured heel and wraparound bridge give this guitar ultimate simple playability. Featuring many of the same subtle touches as its big brother the 'Macon Single Cut', this instrument is a serious take on the old student favorite. Featuring our signature finish, handwound pickups, and a high quality wraparound ABM bridge."
A gorgeous aesthetic, flawless build quality, and a versatile tonal palette (thanks to the open sounding, splittable, Mojo humbuckers) make this guitar pretty irresistible for vintage purists looking for a more modern guitar.
Condition: Excellent. Very few signs of prior ownership - it's pretty close to mint, but we're hesitant to say that as you may notice light signs of use. As close to new as you can hope a used guitar to be! Setup is spot on.
