Former TME staffer, Lukas Pool, and his wife, Eden, are making some of the country's finest open back banjos under their Ozark Banjo Co. moniker. Lukas is the rare virtuoso player as skilled with a saw as he is with a pick; and Eden's beautiful inlay work gives their instruments an earthiness that remind us of the traditional builders who've inspired the Ozark lineup.

This 12" banjo features all Cherry construction, a rolled brass tone ring, and brass hardware. Lukas is known for his warm, rich tone, and this banjo reminds us a little of hearing him play in the showroom (not that any of us can play like him!). Tons of sustain and overtones, with plenty of note articulation to ensure your melodies won't get swallowed in a mix. An excellent choice for a dynamic player interested in a handmade, professional level instrument.
