Description
If you are reading this, you likely know that this mandolin needs no introduction. Mike Kemnitzer has been building the finest mandolins ever made since the early 70's, and they have made their way into the hands of some of the most prominent players in the world. From afar, this instrument looks like many others, but upon closer inspection you will find that every single detail radiates meticulous perfection. Although extremely lightly built, the mandolin has not moved a bit in its more than 20 year life. The top is thin, and perfectly arched. The neck angle is exactly how it should be, and luthier Lynn Dudenbostel has ensured that it plays clean to the last fret. Other than some light scratches (on the paper-thin finish), the mandolin is in exceptional shape. Nuggets are as rare as unicorns these days, and this example is as good as it gets.
