Gently used Northfield F5 Master Model Big Mon! Featuring a slightly enlarged F5 body, the Big Mon is a particularly responsive, airy and open sounding instrument. While difficult to discern visually without holding it up against a standard F5, these modified dimensions have a definite impact on the tone. With more volume and midrange/bass response than Northfield's standard F5, this master model mandolin has plenty of power and woody low end to cut through in an ensemble.
Fully bound and finished with Northfield's hybrid varnish in a beautiful sunburst, this is an excellent choice for a serious bluegrass player looking for a true powerhouse instrument. In very good used condition - some very light finish marks on the top, and one small mark on the lower bout of the back where an armrest was previously attached. Priced with its original "Airloom" hardshell case.
