When this Martin D-28 Authentic was just traded in, the original owner told us he'd only played it a couple times in the seven years he'd owned it (couldn't get along with the 1 11/16" nut width). That story certainly appears to be true: the guitar is in excellent condition, and could easily be mistaken for new old stock. If you DO favor, the narrower neck of a post-1939 style Martin dreadnought ~ this is the guitar for you! Big, chunky sound perfectly suited to bluegrass but with enough harmonic complexity to be the bedrock of nearly any musical ensemble. The setup is unaltered from factory original, sitting at 3/32" on the bass side, and a hair over 2/32" on the treble side. The saddle is likewise unmodified, and the next owner should have leeway to adjust the action if desired. Priced with its original hardshell case.
