This 2013 Martin D-28 Authentic 1931 has just come into the shop for consignment! This now-unavailable model was built in tribute to the very first D-28 Martin ever made -- notable for its lightness of build, its 12-fret design, and its absolutely huge sound! We've played a handful of these over the years; and this particular guitar is a standout in terms of its tone and responsiveness. It's got the huge bass you'd expect, but it's also very warm throughout the midrange and treble register as well -- with that extra openness only time can impart.
Condition: we rate this guitar in "very good" condition overall, meaning it only shows standard signs of usage. There's very minor, superficial, pick wear on the pickguard, and an area of somewhat dulled finish on the back (remember the Authentics have an extremely thin finish). You'll have to look closely to see both of the wear we've referenced herein; and the guitar presents beautifully in person. Priced with its original hard case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
