We recently took this Martin D-18 Golden Era in on trade; and it's one of the best-sounding guitars we could recommend to a flatpicker looking for their first serious bluegrass guitar. It's nicely opened up, with very powerful low end, and open, punchy trebles all the way up the neck. It's one of a small number of early D-18GE built with style-28 fingerboard inlays instead of the standard pearl dots.

This guitar has been played, and shows the expected signs of handling and usage associated with a 25-year old guitar. There are a couple small marks in the finish--one on the back, and one on the treble side of the neck. The neck has been reset--it's a clean job, and there is plenty of saddle height remaining for future action adjustments. Priced with its original Martin hard case.
