We're happy to welcome this Martin D-18 Authentic 1937 VTS back to inventory! We sold it when it was new, and remember it as a particularly nice sounding example of the model. The original D-18A 1937, produced from 2005 to 2012, set a new standard for attempting to recreate vintage tone in a brand new guitar; and this revamped version of the model incorporates Martin's "Vintage Tone System" and slightly redesigned body contours into what's essentially their classic D-18A package. The sound is instantly familiar: powerful, woody, warm, and bright all at once, with huge low end and the penetrating trebles prized by bluegrass flatpickers.
Condition: really, there's not much to say. The guitar looks like it's only been played a handful of time; and it's been stored in its case, properly humidified, when not in use. The original factory setup still looks great, and needs no adjustment at this time. Price includes the original hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
