At first glance, this may look like a Standard Series 000-18, but Martin's Custom Shop gave this 000 some major tonal upgrades.
Martin combined their 18-style mahogany back and sides with hide glue construction, and applied their Vintage Tone System torrefication and finish process to the Sitka spruce top to give the guitar some of the rounder, richer tone of a played-in instrument.
With a comfortable body size and shorter 24.9" scale length, the 000 has long been a favorite among fingerpickers. But it's no slouch when it comes to flatpicking and strumming either, especially with these Custom Shop upgrades. It's incredibly responsive, with a warm, deep bass and articulate high end, and a dynamic range that will take you by surprise.
This gently used guitar is in excellent condition, with no significant cosmetic wear, and priced with its original hard case.
