Martin gives a nod to both tradition and innovation with the CEO-9. The CEO is modeled after the 1930s Gibson slope-shoulder L-00, and this limited edition run sports an all-curly mango body - an uncommon tonewood with mega-visual appeal. The sound is distinct from the typically woody and mid-range focused CEO 7 - there's a richer bass and resonance, and a distinct tone that would make for an excellent vocal accompaniment instrument or counterpoint to another guitar. A gorgeous sunburst finish that doesn't obscure the wood's figuring, along with multi-stripe rosette and inlay and vintage copper tuners, put the finishing touches on this unique package. Its previous owner took excellent care of it, bringing it to us in near mint condition. It's #165 of this limited batch, with a label signed by Chris Martin IV. Priced with hard case.
