Spectacular looking (and sounding) 2014 Martin 000-28K Authentic 1921 just in for consignment. This guitar looks like it hasn't been played much; and aside from a few nearly-impossibly faint signs of handling, we're tempted to call it mint (but we're including the usual caveat ~ it's an eight-year-old guitar that's been played, so don't expect untouched looks). Big, woody, robust voice, which barks with authority whether the guitar is fingerpicked, flatpicked, or strummed in an old-time style. The neck is straight, despite only an ebony rod to support it; and the action sits nicely at 3/32" (bass side) and 2/32" (treble side) under tension of light strings (with adequate saddle height to lower the action in the future). Priced with its original hard case.

  • All Hawaiian Koa construction
  • 12-fret 000 body
  • Authentic Series Adirondack Spruce bracing
  • Thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish
  • Ebony fingerboard & pyramid bridge
  • Diamond & Squares fingerboard inlay
  • Herringbone purfling
  • Grained Ivoroid binding
  • 1 7/8" Nut width
  • 25.4" Scale length
  • 2 5/16" String spacing
  • Original hard case
  • Serial No. 1820329
