This gently played 2002 Martin 0-28 has a lovely, warm tone, and -- stop us if you've heard this one before -- sounds A LOT bigger than you'd expect! No, it won't take the place of a D-28 in a bluegrass ensemble, but for a fingerstylist who may occasionally dabble in light strumming & old-time back-up, this would be a seriously compelling little guitar. It's 20 years old, and it's been played, so it's not in mint condition, but still presents very cleanly. There are some light scratches on the pickguard, and some dull areas of finish on the top and back where one's arm and torso would rest while playing (there is mild lacquer checking in the affected area of the top). There's some light fret wear under the B string, most noticeable in the first position. As pre-owned gutiars go, all the aforementioned wear is certainly in keeping with a well-loved instrument; and its overall condition would certainly be classified 'very good.' Again, that TONE, though! A very sweet sounding guitar for the right player. Priced with hardshell case.
