Why We Love This
The Lowden O-22C is a Cedar-topped jumbo made for strummers. Does that sound unconventional? Perhaps. But this guitar's full-bodied projection and dry voice are perfectly suited to modern strummers with a percussive style, where an abundance of overtones won't do the mix any favors. Of course, it sounds lovely when played fingerstyle as well (we'll always think of Pierre Bensusan's original Cedar / Mahogany "Old Lady" when we see an O-22C), but rhythm players who need to anchor the band and back off the gas pedal for ballads a few times a set will find a perfect companion in the O-22C. Priced with Hiscox hardshell case.
