Lowden's voicing plays to the strengths of this master-grade Sinker redwood top—at once dark and clear, reminiscent of a stiff cedar but with more power and dynamic range. The spectacular Brazilian rosewood back and sides contribute a stout fundamental note and lovely complexity of overtone. As with all Lowden guitars, playability and responsiveness are exceptional, among the best we have encountered among fingerstyle guitars.
