Great sounding, super clean (2020) Lowden F-23 cutaway with "driftwood" cedar top and walnut back and sides just in to the shop. The cedar / walnut combination imparts a dark warmth, with nice low-mid punch and a really pleasing mix of clarity and overtone. For a very recent build, the tone is open and the guitar quite responsive, a credit to Lowden's voicing as well as that beautiful, wide-grained, reclaimed cedar top. This is a fine example of one of George's most popular body shapes, and a serious value in a contemporary Lowden.
