Description
New to Lentz guitars? Do a little poking around online and you'll find the name Lentz come up time and again when folks ask: "Who makes the absolute best F-style guitars?" Flawless build quality, tones that might just ruin you for other guitars, fat but comfortable neck carves, and a slinky feel - all things Lentz are acclaimed for, and this preowned Reserve S-Style is no exception.
The Reserve line of Lentz guitars utilizes cabinet aged woods (25+ years is typical), lightweight one piece bodies (in this case 3.8 lbs - Alder), gorgeous flamed maple necks, pickups wound specifically for each guitar, nitrate guards, and the electronics are carefully matched in order to achieve the best tones possible - no detail is left untouched.
What you notice immediately upon strumming your first chords is the resonance of these guitars - they feel very alive and musical in your hands even without the aid of an amp. We can't overstate the importance of the "Lentz feel" - it's everything with these guitars and impossible to pinpoint, but it's addictive and one of the reasons these guitars as so highly regarded by so many.
Plugged in at rehearsal or stage volume? Stunning. 3-dimensional, nuanced, powerful tones. The tone controls work extremely well allowing you to really dial in the guitar to your rig.
Condition: Excellent with only light signs or prior ownership- light pick marks on the guard a a few superficial pick marks on the body. Very, very slight pick wear. Setup feels great.
Sound too good to be true? Try one. We think you'll agree. Priced with original hardshell case.
