If you're lucky, sometimes lightning really does strike twice...

A few years ago Saul Koll lit up the guitar world when he showcased a recently acquired 1972 Marshall Super Lead at his NAMM booth, and not just any Super Lead - Neil Young's Super Lead - the very one used on "Rockin' In The Free World" !!! As if that weren't cool enough, Saul also unveiled a tribute to Neil's "Old Black" Les Paul - a Koll Super Glide Almighty, made to resemble Neil's famous Les Paul of the same name. One of one.

As you'd imagine, that SGA sold immediately. Heck, it never even made it back from the NAMM show to our shop! It looked awesome in the pics...sure wish Saul would make another one someday...maybe if we ask nicely....a few times....just maybe?

Folks, that day has come, and let us tell you, it was well worth the wait. This guitar is ridiculously cool. Koll fans, we can hear your collective hoots and hollers from here - believe us, we're doing it too! It's hard not to let out an audible "ooooh myyyy!!!" when seeing this guitar in person. Everything we love about Koll guitars - the Glide body shape, the playability, attention to detail (Saul even added the 2nd "mystery control cover" from Neil's guitar on the back - definitely pop that cover off when you get the guitar, btw), tones, feel, musicality - it's all here...all this while looking like Neil's Old Black? Get. Out. Of. Here. With. That!! Too cool. 

What's especially cool about this guitar is that it really feels like a Koll made Les Paul - it has the weight, the stout feel and response, and the punchy "please crank the amp louder!" tones. It makes you just want to plug in and rock, period. You get it. This is what rock n roll is all about, right? 

This SGA "Old Black - Neil" may well be the last one Saul builds...? For now, it's one of two in existence. You know what to you - hit "add to cart" before it's gone. You won't regret it, trust us! Priced with hardshell case.
