Truth be told, we loved this guitar immediately for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is because it's the type of guitar that reminded us of why we picked up an electric guitar in the first place - it looks amazing and is super fun to play. We immediately plugged it into a cranked Carr Merc V and were grinning ear to ear. Great guitars simply make you want to play and before you know it, 45 mins have passed. This is one of those guitars.

Ultra-lightweight, resonant, and lively, the Super Cub embodies what makes models like vintage Melody Makers so great. Take that vibe and put it into a superbly crafted guitar and you'll get where this guitar is coming from.

We have a guess as to what you're thinking at this point - what's the story with those pickups? One is a TV Jones Supertron and the other is a Vintage Vibe Charlie Christian - and they sound incredible individually and/or together. The tones we pulled from this guitar were muscular, full of chime, and excelled at both clean and overdriven tones. Fender, Vox, Marshall-style amps, it sounded amazing through every one.
