We sold this lovely Kimble A5 new a few years back, and are pleased to be able to offer it through the shop again! Anyone familiar with Will Kimble's work knows that he makes a fantastic A-style that will cause even the staunchest of F5 devotees to reconsider, and this one certainly lives up to that expectation. Lively and nuanced with a focused mid-range bark, it is well-voiced for bluegrass, with a touch more sustain and overtone complexity than you might find in a traditional Loar-style mandolin. This is a very well-balanced instrument as well; the A and E strings are full and round with plenty of pop, making for a very dynamic instrument all around! If you've been on the hunt for a gently pre-owned Kimble, now's your chance! We don't expect this one to hang around long.

Condition is very good, with a few small finish indentations visible on close inspection, most notably on the back and behind the nut on the back of the neck; on the whole it presents very cleanly! Priced with original TKL hardshell case.
