One of Ibanez's longest running signature guitars, the Japanese-made George Benson Signature Model continues to be popular with jazz players who aren't afraid to add some volume to the mix (Kurt Rosenwinkel fans, read on...). Features include an arched spruce top, maple back and sides, 24 3/4" scale, 1 11/16" nut width, and a pair of floating humbuckers (Kent Armstrong rewound, in this case).
Condition: Excellent. The playability and setup are excellent - no signs of fret wear and the neck is smooth with no dings or finish wear. There are only minor signs of previous ownership - finish swirls, one or two small indentations on the spruce top though we'd consider all of them very minor, especially given the age of this guitar. Light patina on the gold hardware with some moderate wear on the neck pickup cover.
Simply a killer sounding, playing, and looking archtop for players who want to add a modern classic to their arsenal!
