A classic reissue of the legendary early 60s German hollowbody bass, this Hofner Violin Bass delivers on playability with great vintage tone.

This is a wonderfully lightweight example that is set up with flatwound strings and comfortable action. The original pickups sound nice and full as well. It shows signs of light play wear throughout, and there's evidence of slight degradation of the pearloid heel cap as shown. The original pickguard is not included.

Original Hofner hardshell case and 40th Anniversary hang tag are included.
