Based in the Hudson Valley, Chihoe Hahn has spent the last few decades quietly building a reputation for making some of the best T-style guitars you can buy. Not only is Chihoe known for his incredibly musical, extremely high quality builds, he also makes his own hardware that "like our guitars, strive to provide clarity, warmth, balance, dynamic range and, in a word, musicality."

The flagship 'Model 910' features a 2" deep, aggressively chambered mahogany body and a maple neck/rosewood fingerboard and yields a very "acoustic" and hollow character.  With the 910, Hahn has sought to combine the airy, dry, big sound of a Gretsch or Rickenbacker with the power and solidity of a Telecaster.  It's a guitar that is capable of piano-like depth and resonance, and when used with gain, can growl, snarl and sing. It can go from country to rock to jazz or anywhere you want to take it with the flick of the volume knob or pickup selector.

From Hahn...

"When paired with its deep soft V neck carve, the 910 bites harder and can get chirpy or stingy in the high end.  Either way, you will get an extremely wide sonic spectrum and extreme touch sensitivity and dynamics - you can really dig-in to the 910 and there will be plenty of headroom.  Volume and tone knob junkies will really love the 910 - and when you topload or go thru-body with the strings, what you have is an amazing palette for either the soloist or colorist."

Condition: Near mint. Only very light signs of prior ownership are present. This was a very well cared for guitar. Also includes an unused tortoise pickguard set and a gently used black set in addition the currently installed white set.

Suffice it to say, we're really blown away by this featherweight beauty. After spending some time with the 910 we easily see why Chihoe has counted the likes of Walter Becker, Jim Campilongo, Elliot Easton, John Bohlinger, Redd Volkaert, Duke Robillard, Susan Tedeschi, and Doyle Bramhall II as clients. Priced with deluxe Hahn gig bag.
