Love the sound of a great Strat but prefer the feel and ergonomics of a Tele? This killer Grosh NOS VT Custom Deluxe HSS is your dream come true - Tele ergonomics coupled with Strat tones and a whammy bar. What's not to love? Let's jump in...

If you've never had a chance to play a Grosh, you're in for a treat. One of the things that makes Don's work so appealing is his ability to build a flawless guitar without sacrificing the feel of a great, vintage F-style guitar. There's thought and purpose behind each improvement, all of which are made in the service of, and for, the player. Vintage style locking tuners, 22 frets, a Gotoh 510 bridge/tremolo, custom Grosh pickups in a humbucker-single-single configuration.

Speaking of which, this guitar was originally ordered and sold through our shop as a traditional SSS Strat regarding the pickup orientation. Once back in our possession, we realized the body was already routed by Grosh for a humbucker so we jumped at the chance to install a new Grosh humbucker and brand new Grosh pickguard.

The result of these updates? Incredible. This is the Ferrari of F-style guitars. It's sleek, sexy, fast, refined, versatile...but it hasn't forgotten what a great vintage F-style guitar should feel like (the neck shape is very similar to a 60s Fender). It's a pretty amazing combination of vintage heart & soul (feel & tone), and modern (build quality). It's hard to overstate just how comfortable, and easy, this guitar is to play (it also sounds fantastic).

Acoustically this guitar is loud, resonant, and snappy. Plugged in, you're greeted with huge, fat, refined "Super" Strat tones. We're fond of saying the sound coming out your amp sounds like it's been recorded, EQ'd, and compressed by the best studio gear available. The word that again comes to mind is refined.

Condition: Very good+. There are indentations present on the body, front and back, though none break the finish. Otherwise, the guitar is actually in excellent condition - no fret wear, etc...just some light wear on the body.

Players who love the classic guitars but need and appreciate modern playability, build quality, and fretwork should add this guitar in the cart immediately - you won't be disappointed. Just amazing stuff. Priced with hardshell case.
