It's always fun to spec out guitars with Don Grosh but it's especially fun when he agrees to do colors he's never done before. We're proud to present to you....drum roll.....the first Desert Sand Grosh! We were going for a classic Fender vibe with the Desert Sand color (one of our faves) and a gold anodized pickguard...though slightly hot-rodded, hence the humbucker in the bridge position. Per usual, Don delivered exactly what we were envisioning.

As with all Grosh guitars we've ever had, this guitar is flawless and possesses all the hallmarks of an exceptional instrument: it's lightweight, loud, chimey, and balanced when played acoustically, is flawless set up and it almost plays itself...The satin neck is pure heaven to play on and the fretwork is some of the best in the business.

Plugged in, you're treated to all the Strat goodness one could ever want with the added plus of a Grosh 327 humbucker in the bridge position, a master volume, push/pull middle tone control (splits the bridge pickup), and a blend control on the 2nd tone knob. What does that mean exactly? The weak link in most Strats has been removed - the bridge pickup - and you get a really wide range of tones via the turn, or pull, of a few knobs. You can get really fat, humbucker tones in addition to all the SRV & Hendrix hollow neck pickup sounds, Knopfler "cluck"...it's all here.

Looking for a "super Strat" that hasn't lost its vintage soul? This is your guitar. Priced with custom fitted hardshell case.
