If the idea of a modern Strat built by one of the best in the business is appealing to you, this Bent Top should be in your checkout cart right now.

Why We Love This

Prior to launching the ever-popular NOS Retro line which features traditional Fender body shapes, Grosh Guitars had built their reputation off their sleek, hot-rodded Retro Classic line. At the top of the Retro Classic line is the Bent Top model which features a stunning quilted maple top over a mahogany body in a HSH configuration (the Bent Top moniker refers to the arm contours a la a traditional Strat).

Slightly smaller than a traditional Strat, the Retro Classic recalls the Super Strats used by all the top session players of the late 80s / early 90s. To be sure, these are "high performance" guitars designed to deliver flawless playability via some of the best fretwork in the business, perfect tuning stability via a 2-post Gotoh tremolo and Kluson locking tuners (and perfectly cut nut), an exposed humbucker-single-humbucker pickup configuration with expanded electronics (volume, push/pull tone control that splits the humbuckers), and of course, show-stopping looks.

Add to this a Gibson wood combo - mahogany body / quilted maple top - and you've got the recipe for the ultimate Super Strat. You can truly cover anything from Les Paul muscle and power to glassy Fender chime via the Grosh made pickups (302 humbucker in the neck position, Fat 60s in the middle position, 327 humbucker in the bridge).
