This barely used Grez Mendocino has just come in and has some serious looks to match the incredible tones these lightweight hollowbodies deliver.
The Quilted Redwood top has some serious figuring that has a bit of burl to it, along with some wavy crossgrain that gives it some real depth in certain light. The tortoiseshell binding and multi-ply purfling provide some sleek contrast while tying into the Mahogany body almost seamlessly.
Incredibly lightweight in construction, this Mendocino has a tremendous amount of acoustic resonance and liveliness. Plugged in, the Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers capture that vibe with great clarity and dynamic response. It's chock full of nuance and expression - a very lyrical sounding guitar!
Condition: Near Mint. We don't like to throw around the word "mint" in any association of an instruments' condition since the term is still quite subjective, but this is just about as clean as you could get aside from getting one fresh off the bench. There may be a light surface scuff here or there, but you'd be hard pressed to really find any true wear on the guitar.
