Super warm, wide open and woody low end on this stellar new F5 from a house favorite, highly regarded, local mandolin luthier. We don't often get F5s from Max–this one is worth a listen!!

Max Girouard has thrilled us with his A-style, two-point, and octave mandolin models for many years now, but F models have been a rarer sight here. We clearly need to rethink our ordering patterns, as this is an impressive F, with an exceedingly open voice right out of the gate. The sound is distinctive: an F model with a thumpy, round low end that still manages to have great life and personality on the treble strings.

As you can tell from Ethan Setiawan's video demo, the Girouard F5 Concert sounds killer on mic; the experience in the room is just as enjoyable.
