Here it is, with the last of the wonderful sinker cedar from Girouard's wood stash. Max has put this great tonewood to use in several mando builds in recent years, and it has always yielded very special results. Paired with sapele back and sides, what a wide open, rich octave mandolin sound in this teardrop A, with lots of sustain on tap. Workmanship is top notch, the deep red burst is gorgeous, and playability is second to none.
This octave mandolin is in like-new condition, and is priced with an older, well fitting banjo case.
