This stunning, all original 1914 Gibson H-2 mandola is about as clean an example as you're likely to find. Recently setup, this mandola plays beautifully and the tone is all there - big, open and responsive, with strong mid-range and the dry warmth only found in a vintage instrument. Aside from a tiny crack on the heelcap, this mandola is in extremely good condition for its age. All original appointments include Handel tuners with inlaid buttons, "The Gibson" engraved tailpiece cover, and fully intact pickgard with tortoise mounting arm. Priced with the original hard case!
