Born in the earlier days of Gibson's Custom Shop, this Les Paul Elegant model takes the classic single-cut into a more aesthetically refined territory, with distinctive abalone inlays and a highly figured Maple top. The factory clear pickguard is an indication that a top this nice was never meant to be covered!

With its chambered Mahogany body and super comfortable medium/full C neck, it brings a whole new level of comfort and playability. The original 57 Classics deliver great PAF-like tone and response, with the airiness and resonance of the semi-hollow construction lending towards a quite dynamically responsive guitar.
