In Vermont, the finest frogs feast a bit higher on the food chain. This stately Froggy Bottom K Deluxe (2005 build) in Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce managed to catch a hawk! The gorgeous, tight-grained Brazilian rosewood back and sides harken back to an earlier era, and will have you leaning in close to soak in all the rich harmonic content on tap. The neck profile is modern, very comfortable, encouraging you to explore every inch of the fingerboard. Do so and you are rewarded by chords and single-note lines that ring out all the way up the neck.
Deluxe appointments include a paua abalone rosette and matching backstrip, gold Waverly tuners, abalone "froggy" headstock logo, #3 fleur-de-lis fingerboard inlay, and a lovely scrimshaw heel cap depicting a red-tailed hawk, a unique, a signature Froggy Bottom detail only rarely available nowadays. Condition is near excellent, aside from some slight finish wear at the base of the headstock, likely from a guitar stand, and minimal fret wear. K&K pickup and ebony strap button w/pearl dot.
Priced w/ Hoffee flight case.
