Description
This 1995 Flatiron F5 is a bluegrass mandolin in every sense of the term - dry, woody, powerful and responsive. This mandolin was recently setup in-house and it plays great! The slightly narrower 1 1/16th inch nut width makes for a comfortable and playable neck, while the flat fingerboard lends a more traditional feel. Beautifully appointed in a Dark Coffee finish with full binding and a pearl & abalone inlaid flowerpot headstock. A fantastic mandolin, from one of the more sought after periods of Flatiron's production.
In good used condition - there is some finish play-wear on the back of the neck, as well as some finish flaking at the base of the heal cap. See photos for details. Priced with hardshell case.
