Flatiron's Artist model A5 mandolins have long been sought after as outstanding bluegrass mandolins. Folks in the know who have experienced these mandolins first hand recognize the value here, as they easily rival their equivalently appointed Gibson peers.

This Bruce Weber-signed A5 Artist is an excellent example of why these mandolins are so desirable: classic bluegrass tone, ample volume, and great chop. Setup with a Fishman bridge pickup (note the tiny wire lead behind the bass side bridge), this mandolin is ready for the next coffeehouse jam or festival stage.

Priced with hardshell case.

  • Sitka spruce top
  • X braced
  • Flamed maple back & sides
  • Ebony fingerboard, minimally radiused
  • Ivoroid-bound body, headstock, and fingerboard
  • 1 1/8" nut width
  • Schaller gold tuners
  • Cast tailpiece
  • Fishman bridge-mounted pickup
  • Fern inlay
  • Serial number 93091745
