Description
As the nomenclature of this David Flammang "RS-35" suggests, the guitar is essentially a Roy Smeck-style 12-fret dreadnought. We can't remember the last time we saw a boutique Roy Smeck that was someone's gigging guitar, but kudos to whoever put the miles on this one! It's been played aggressively, and shows scattered dings and scratches across the top, as well as some noticeable belt buckle rash on the back. And as you might expect, it's got the huge sound to prove those stripes have been well-earned. David Flammang's guitars are highly sought after by fans of vintage Gibsons -- their lightness of build, woody sound and easy response instantly bring to mind an early 1940's slope dreadnought. And this one is no exception to the rule. A big & bold sounding guitar for fans of the 12-fret dread! With Gibson hard case.
