After studying several '59 P-Basses, the fine folks at the Fender Custom Shop set out to recreate every facet of the legendary P-Bass for this limited run of '59 P's.

Featuring a 2-piece alder body with Journeyman lacquer finish and gold anodized pickguard, vintage-style bridge and tuners, tinted quartersawn maple neck with a 1960 P Bass Oval C profile, and rosewood fingerboard with a period-correct 7.25-inch radius, this P not only looks the part, it feels, plays, and sounds quite a bit like an old P.

You know it, you love it - and why not? The P Bass is a legend that quite literally changed the course of modern music. This is a fantastic example of this icon - highly recommended.
