Fender is keeping our love of their late-60s style guitars going with this gently used 2018 Voodoo Child Strat. The combo of a 66 Oval C neck carve and 6105 frets is irresistible and the hand-wired '69 pickups sound fantastic - all the position 4 Jimi tones you could ever want are here in spades. 

What really makes this guitar hep and "not your average Strat" are the reversed bridge pickup and headstock. We've explored the reverse pickup idea in our Grosh NOS "Linhof" style builds - the idea coming from Jimi himself. Basically, since Jimi played a righty guitar lefty, the pickup orientation was flipped. Some think this is part of the magic behind his incredible tone as the pickup was angled closer to the bridge on the lower strings - creating better clarity - and positioned further away from the bridge on the upper strings, creating a rounder / warmer treble response.

Condition: Excellent. Other than a little (very) light fret wear, this guitar is in as-new condition (it's a relic).
